Raling Monastery and Nyinba Valley Cultural Trek

Major Attractions: Nyinba Valley consisting of four villages inhabited by Bhotia community; unique village structure resembling Buddhist Mandala; Mt Shelmogang (5,300 m), also known as Mount Crystal Peak and Ralling Gompa and Siddhi Caves of Guru Rimpoche, the power places and treasures of Humla.
This is the shortest yet one of the most culturally and scenically rewarding trek to experience Humla. The valley can be reached in a day's walk from Simikot. The trail also takes you to Kharpunath temple where Karnali from west Tibet and Chang/Dozam confluence and becomes Karnali River, the longest and holiest river of Nepal.
The crystal peak can also be scaled (June-October), but you require extra days to do so.

Day 05: Trek Simikot to Torpa
Day 06: Trek Torpa to Raling
Day 07: Explore Raling valley
Day 08: Raling to Bargaon
Day 09: Bargaon to Kharbunath
Day 10: Kharbunath to Simikot
Day 11: Fly Simikot to Nepalgunj/Kathmandu.
Day 12: Depart back home
