Simikot - Hilsa - Limi Circuit

Major Attractions: Limi Valley; Nara La pass; age-old monasteries; majestic view of Saipal and Nalakankad mountain range;

This trek starts from Simikot (height 2,910 m) and climbs up to Nara La pass (4,530 meters) and makes a loop back to Simikot via Limi valley through scenic Nyalu La pass (4,950m).
This tough but rewarding trek offers opportunity to meet the friendly villagers of upper Humla. Also visit the monasteries which are 400-1000 years old. Added to this is the scenery of pine-forested Karnali gorge and beautiful Saipal and Nalakankad mountain range. The area is untouched by modern pace of change and believed to be the present form of mythical Shangri-la. Indeed a must visit place.
